"Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive; Both men and women should feel free to be strong —Emma Watson."

stirringwind:

it’s exclusive to say leaders of feminism can only be marginalised: non-white, trans, lesbian etc. I’m not white and while I agree Emma isn’t THE representative of feminism, she can be ONE OF the representatives of feminism.

Not the same thing.

Also, I’ve seen some criticise Emma Watson…

We’re still in the game.

“When I was eight, I was confused about being called ‘bossy’ because I wanted to direct the plays that we would put on for our parents. But the boys were not. When at 14, I started to be sexualized by certain elements of the media. When at 15, my girlfriends started dropping out of their beloved sports teams because they didn’t want to appear ‘muscle-y.’ When at 18, my males friends were unable to express their feelings; I decided that I was a feminist.”

Buffy trading cards done for my portraiture/caricature class! I wish I had time to do more characters… maybe I’ll complete the set someday :)

Good documentary! It feels nice to see that we all share similar experiences, no matter where we are from :-)

The Animated Adventures of Buffy by Stephen Byrne

This guy is a genius! I want this! I NEED this!

marilynmay:

And this bit here I did actually add on set. Not just the picture of Butthead on the punching bag but this, where I said I wanted to get a couple of shots. We were going fast – and that one, I didn’t know if I was going to use the two of them. And to me it’s almost the most important shot in the show because it really shows the mystery of their relationship. And that’s one where I wanted the audience to fill in the blanks. I wanted them – I wanted whatever you want to have happened, to have happened. If people believe that on their last night together they made love, great! If they believe that on their last night together they talked all night, great! If they believe that they had a fight, great!Whatever it is, it’s up to the viewer and I think that the viewer has earned that, and I love that elliptical nature of their last night together. I think that there should be work for the viewer to do, in that sense, emotionally, because I think it makes it more textured. And that shot of the two of them looking at each other, I just find beautiful.

So Dylan is coming back for season 10. Dylan from Into the Light. Dylan that kissed Spike. Dylan that will make Buffy jealous. Dylan that will make Spike think about what he feels for Buffy. Dylan that will make Buffy think about what she feels for Spike. Dylan that will make Spike do something about it. Dylan that will make Buffy do something about it. Dylan that will make something finally happen.

  • D Y L A N

(and imagine if she has a surprising motivation and plays more than a love triangle)

(just don’t simply hate this sweet character)
