30 Days of Buffy

Day 2) Favourite Episode - 5x06 “Family”

“Every time I-even when I’m at my worst…you always make me feel special. How do you do that?” 

“Magic”

I had so much trouble deciding which to use for this ‘cause I love so many episodes and they’re each so great in their own way, but you see, my love for Miss Tara Maclay has no boundaries. It’s the only character centric episode she has but it’s just so bloody perfect. And I mean, who doesn’t love that the Scooby Gang sticks up to her mean family and now she finally becomes accepted as one of the members of the group. Oh, and of course the wonderful ending scene with Willow & Tara. Gives me the warm fuzzies inside and I want to cry because they’re so freakin’ CUTE!

Side note: I really do get brought to tears by this episode knowing what happens in the future, so when I watch it, I’m never the same again. Well that, and I’m the worlds biggest sap. I rewatch this plenty of times just to torture myself.
